Diclox forte is a strong pain gel from ratiopharm that relieves acute pain and inflammation with the active ingredient diclofenac in double concentration.It is particularly suitable for treating acute movement and joint pain caused by bruises, strains or sprains.The active ingredient diclofenac has a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect directly at the site of pain.

Diclox forte contains diclofenac in a double concentration, which provides effective pain relief.The gel only needs to be applied twice a day, with a cherry to walnut-sized amount being sufficient.After massaging it in, it leaves hardly any residue and has an additional cooling effect.Despite the higher dosage, the gel only has a low risk of side effects.The ergonomic closure makes opening the tube easier.After use, hands should first be wiped with a cloth and then washed to reduce the contamination of the wastewater with active ingredients.

The pain gel is suitable for adults and teenagers aged 14 and over.No prescription is required for this product.However, it should not be used for more than 7 days in a row without medical advice.

The active ingredients of Diclox forte are 20 mg diclofenac sodium (equivalent to 23.2 mg diclofenac-N-ethylethanamine) per 1 g gel.Other ingredients include carbomer 974P, cocoyl caprylocaprate, macrogol cetyl stearyl ether, thick paraffin, N-ethylethanamine, 2-propanol, propylene glycol, oleic acid, butylhydroxytoluene, perfume oil (contains citronellol, geraniol, benzyl alcohol, linalool, D-limonene, citral, farnesol, coumarin, eugenol).and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Diclox forte can be used twice a day.Depending on the size of the painful area of the body, an amount the size of a cherry to a walnut is applied.It should not be used for longer than 7 days without medical advice.The gel is suitable for adults and teenagers aged 14 and over.

Intake

The medicine is intended for use on the skin.Apply the gel thinly to the affected areas of the body and rub it lightly into the skin.After rubbing in the gel, wash your hands unless they are the area to be treated.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine.The medicine may only be applied to intact, not diseased or injured skin.Eyes and oral mucous membranes must not come into contact with the medicine and it must not be taken.After applying the gel to the skin, you can use a permeable bandage.However, the gel should dry on the skin for a few minutes before applying a bandage.You must not use an airtight occlusive dressing.

Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3-5 days.Discontinue treatment if a skin rash occurs during treatment with the product.Avoid exposure to sunlight, including tanning beds, when using this medicine.Care should be taken to ensure that children do not come into contact with rubbed areas of skin.

The medicine has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.

Do not use this medicine in the last trimester of pregnancy as it could harm the unborn child or cause problems during birth.In the first and second trimesters of pregnancy it should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Since diclofenac passes into breast milk in small quantities, the preparation should only be used during breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.If you are breastfeeding, do not apply the gel to the breast area, large areas of skin, or for a long period of time.

It is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 14 and over for the local, symptomatic treatment of pain from acute strains, sprains or bruises resulting from blunt trauma.The medicine contains butylated hydroxytoluene and a fragrance with benzyl alcohol, citronellol, geraniol, linalool, D-limonene, citral, farnesol, coumarin and eugenol.It is available at a pharmacy.
