Lorano®Pro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution is a remedy for the long-lasting improvement of the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria (hives).Allergic rhinitis is an inflammation of the nasal mucosa, which often also affects the eyes.Typical symptoms include sneezing, itchy or runny nose, itchy palate and red, watery or itchy eyes.Urticaria is manifested by the formation of wheals that are surrounded by redness, raised and often itchy.

The active ingredient desloratadine in Lorano®Pro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution is a second-generation antihistamine and, according to current guidelines, is a drug of first choice in the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis and urticaria.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Lorano®Pro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution contains the following ingredients:

Active ingredient: 2.5 mg desloratadine based on 5 ml juice.

Other ingredients: Sorbitol 70 (487.5 mg), propylene glycol (511.5 mg), citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate-2 water (total 19.25 mg sodium ion), hypromellose, sucralose, disodium edetate-2 water, tutti frutti flavor and purified water.

Contraindications

Lorano®Pro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution must not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned.The medicine should generally not be used in infants and young children under 2 years of age.

Dosage

The recommended dosage for children between 2 and 5 years is 2.5 ml of solution once daily.Children between 6 and 11 years take 5 ml of solution once daily.Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults take 10 ml of solution once daily.

The dose should be swallowed and then washed down with a little water.It can be taken with or without food.A dosing aid is included to make dosage and use easier, especially for children.This should be used to set and administer the correct dose.For correct handling, please follow the instructions in the instructions for use.

Intake

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Lorano®Pro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution if you have impaired kidney function or if you have a known or family history of seizures.Do not give this medicine to children younger than 2 years.

If you take the recommended dosage, Lorano®Pro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution is not expected to affect your ability to drive or use machines.Although most people do not experience drowsiness, it is recommended that you avoid activities that require mental alertness, such as driving or operating machinery, until your personal response to the medicine has been established.

Pregnancy

Taking Lorano®Pro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Notes

Be careful if you have an intolerance to fructose (fruit sugar).If you have to follow a diabetes diet, you should consider the sugar content.

Lorano®Pro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution contains sorbitol, propylene glycol and sodium.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Application

Lorano®Pro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution works quickly and only once a day.It is suitable for ages 2 and up and has a pleasant fruity flavor.A dosing syringe makes it easier to take.
