Each tablet of Rennie Peppermint Chewable Tablets contains 680 mg of calcium carbonate and 80 mg of magnesium carbonate.The preparation also contains potato starch, magnesium stearate, corn starch, paraffin, sucrose, talc, peppermint flavor and lemon flavor.

Contraindications

Rennie peppermint chewable tablets should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ingredients, have elevated calcium levels, kidney dysfunction, kidney stones or have low phosphate blood levels.

Dosage

Children over twelve years of age and adults can take one to two chewable tablets up to three times a day if necessary.It should be taken one hour after meals or before going to bed.The maximum dose is eleven tablets per day.The duration of use should not be longer than 14 days without medical advice.If other medications are taken at the same time, an interval of at least two hours should be maintained.
