Instructions for use for ANISTEE DAB, 100g
Instructions for use of Aurica Anistee
Aurica anise tea is an aromatic, slightly sweet medicinal tea that is made from the whole fruits of the anise plant "Pimpinella anisum".This tea is often used in pediatrics due to its pleasant taste.Anise has an antispasmodic, antibacterial and expectorant effect, making it easier to cough up.Aurica anise tea is suitable for treating digestive problems and upper respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis, colds or sinus infections.
Areas of application
Aurica anise tea is used for digestive disorders, especially mild cramps in the gastrointestinal area, as well as catarrh of the respiratory tract. This also includes mild cramp-like gastrointestinal disorders and colds of the respiratory tract, especially with thick mucus.
Contraindications
If you are allergic to anise and anethole, the medicine must not be used.Caution is also advised if you are allergic to other spices such as mugwort, dill, fennel, carrot, coriander, caraway, pepper, parsley, celery and tomatoes.
Interactions with other agents
To date, there are no known interactions with other agents.
Dosage instructions and method of application
Unless otherwise prescribed, a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk twice a day: half a teaspoonful (approx. 1.5 g) of crushed aniseed tea shortly before use is poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and after about 10 to 15 minutes, if necessary, strained through a tea strainer. The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
Duration of application
In the case of acute symptoms that last longer than a week or that recur periodically, we recommend consulting a doctor.
Side effects
Occasionally, allergic reactions of the skin, respiratory tract and gastrointestinal tract may occur. If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Composition
The medicinally active ingredient is anise. The anise plant is an annual herb with rounded, undivided leaves at the base and heavily pinnate leaves higher up.The small white flowers are in an umbel shape, and the resulting gray-green fruits are in two parts with yellowish ribs.Anise is mainly grown in southern Europe, Turkey, Central Asia, India, China, Japan, Central and South America. The main ingredients are trans-anethole, which is found in fruit extracts and fruit essential oil.
Mode of action
The effect of anise is primarily due to the trans-anethole contained in the essential oil.Anethole stimulates the airway hairs to move faster, the mucus becomes thinner and the bronchial tubes expand. This means that stuck mucus can be coughed up more easily. In the gastrointestinal area, anise oil relieves cramps and has a similar effectiveness for flatulence as fennel or caraway.
Important notes
No prescription is required for this product. The medicine must be protected from moisture and stored in the dark.Pay attention to careful dosage, especially for infants, small children and older people. The dosage prescribed by the doctor may differ from the information in the package insert.
