Area of application

Dolormin for women for menstrual cramps with naproxen is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory medicine specifically designed for women to relieve painful symptoms during menstruation.It contains the active ingredient naproxen, which inhibits the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain and inflammation.This enables long-lasting relief from menstrual cramps, so that affected women can go about their everyday lives more carefree again.

Mode of action

1 Tablet of Dolormin for women for menstrual cramps with naproxen contains 250 mg of naproxen.Other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, pre-gelatinized starch (corn), povidone (K 30), croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), quinoline yellow (E 104) and purified water.

Contraindications

Dolormin for women must not be taken if you are allergic to naproxen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, if you have a history of asthma attacks, nasal swelling or skin reactions to taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, if you have unexplained blood formation disorders, if you have existing or have had gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, if you have gastrointestinal bleeding or-History of breakthrough in connection with previous therapy with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, in cerebral hemorrhage or other active bleeding, if you have severe liver or kidney dysfunction, in severe heart failure, in the last three months of pregnancy or in children under 12 years.

Dosage

The recommended dose for adolescents aged 12 and over and adults is 1 tablet once a day, 8-12 hours apart from the first dose, before a meal.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.Patients with impaired liver or kidney function should not take more than 2 tablets per day, divided into 2 divided doses.

Intake

Please take the tablets whole with plenty of liquid (e.g. a glass of water), if possible before eating.This promotes the onset of effect.For patients who have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take Dolormin for women during meals.

Patient information

The duration of application depends on the respective symptoms.Do not take Dolormin for women for more than 4 days without medical advice.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Dolormin for women is too strong or too weak.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.If pregnancy is detected while using Dolormin for women, the doctor should be notified.You may only use naproxen in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy after consulting your doctor.Dolormin for women must not be used in the last trimester of pregnancy due to an increased risk of complications for mother and child.The active ingredient naproxen and its breakdown products pass into breast milk in small quantities.As a precaution, the use of Dolormin for women during breastfeeding should be avoided.

Other

The medicine should be discontinued immediately and a doctor should be consulted if blood formation disorders occur, gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers occur, severe pain occurs, especially in the upper abdomen, black coloring of the stool, signs of meningitis, visual disturbances, new onset or worsening of an infection, reduction in urine output, accumulation of water in the body, as well as general malaise, occurrence of asthma attacks, spasms of the bronchial muscles, eosinophilicPneumonia, severe general hypersensitivity reactions, hypersensitivity reactions with skin rashes, itchy skin and skin bleeding.
