Instructions for use for NYSTADERM Paste, 100 g

Summary: Nystaderm paste is a medicine used to treat skin infections caused by nystatin-sensitive yeast fungi such as napkin dermatitis. The paste is applied thinly to the affected skin areas and should be used 2-4 times daily. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks. Nystaderm paste contains the active ingredient nystatin, which attacks the outer shell of the fungi and inhibits their growth. In addition to nystatin, the paste also contains zinc oxide to support wound healing. The medicine must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to nystatin or any of the other ingredients. There is no evidence that Nystaderm paste should not be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Occasional side effects may occur. If a rash, itching or burning sensation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor. The medicine should be protected from heat and used for a maximum of 12 months after opening.
