Aurica cowslip tea is a slightly sweet cold tea made from dried whole cowslip flowers.It has an expectorant and expectorant effect.The tea is particularly suitable for colds and bronchitis with mucous coughs and runny nose.The valuable active ingredients of cowslip flowers help to loosen and liquefy the thick mucus stuck in the respiratory tract.This makes it easier to cough up bronchial mucus and makes breathing easier, as well as relieving stubborn coughs.

Dosage instructions and method of application

No prescription is required for this product.Unless otherwise prescribed, a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk 2 to 3 times a day: 1 teaspoon full (approx. 1.3 g) of cowslip blossom tea is poured with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and after about 10 to 15 minutes, if necessary, strained through a tea strainer.Young people aged 12 and over and adults can take the tea regardless of the meal.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be taken if you have a known allergy to primroses.There are no sufficient studies on the use of cowslip flowers during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or in children under 12 years of age.Tea infusions made from cowslip blossoms should therefore not be drunk by this group of people.

Side effects

Stomach problems and nausea can occasionally occur.In rare cases, after the flowers come into contact with the skin, hypersensitivity (allergies) can occur in the form of reddening of the skin with blistering.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
