Product features

UrgoStart Border is a self-adhesive lipid colloid foam wound dressing equipped with an innovative technology called microadhesivem TLC-NOSF .This technology was developed by Laboratoires Urgo.

The wound dressing consists of a microadhesive TLC-NOSFlayer combined with an absorbent polyurethane foam compress and a highly absorbent layer.In addition, it has a vapor-permeable and waterproof outer cover with a silicone adhesive edge.This specific combination is patent protected.

Properties

UrgoStart Border helps shorten healing time.It absorbs exudate and provides drainage to avoid the risk of maceration.The dressing maintains a moist environment that is favorable for the wound healing process.It is also very adaptable and can be easily repositioned.The atraumatic and painless removal of the dressing ensures a high level of comfort for the patient.The waterproof silicone adhesive edge ensures a secure hold.

Application

UrgoStart Border is suitable for exuding chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers.The bandage can also be used for long-standing acute wounds.The sacral version is specifically recommended for exuding chronic wounds in the sacral area, such as sacral pressure ulcers.
