ZINKOXIDSALBE LAW contains the following ingredients: 100 mg zinc oxide, glycerol monostearate as an excipient, magnesium stearate as an excipient, thick paraffin as an excipient and white petroleum jelly as an excipient.

Area of application

ZINKOXIDSALBE LAW is used to treat acute and subacute dermatoses.It has a covering, protective and secretion-binding effect.

Application

The ointment should be applied evenly to the affected skin areas once or several times a day.If necessary, the treated area can be covered with gauze.

Contraindications

ZINKOXIDSALBE LAW must not be used if you are allergic to zinc or any of the other ingredients.When used in the genital and anal area, the additives petroleum jelly and paraffin can lead to a reduction in the tear resistance of latex condoms, which can impair safety.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when using them in the genital and anal areas, as the tear resistance of latex condoms may be reduced.No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

Zinc oxide can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding if used as intended and following the dosage instructions.However, large area application should be avoided, especially on the breast in breastfeeding women.
