Areas of application

UrgoTül Lite is suitable for low to moderately exuding acute wounds with sensitive wound environments, such as skin abrasions, traumatic wounds, postoperative wounds and second degree burns.It can also be used for the local acute treatment of tumor-induced wounds in conjunction with their specific therapy.It can also be used for weakly to moderately exuding chronic wounds, such as lower leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers.

Product features

UrgoTül Lite is a thin, absorbent polyurethane foam compress with a micro-adhesive TLC-wound healing matrix and a breathable non-woven polyurethane backing.The compress promotes wound healing, stimulates the proliferation of local fibroblasts and provides effective exudate management, protecting the wound from maceration.It also enables atraumatic and painless dressing changes.

Application

UrgoTül Lite can be cut with sterile scissors to adjust the size of the dressing to the wound.The compress is fixed with a secondary dressing, for example with Urgomull haft latex-free or Urgoderm Stretch.It is also possible to use UrgoTül Lite in combination with compression therapy such as UrgoK2.The wearing time is usually 2 to 7 days.
