Ibu-Lysin - 1 A Pharma® 400 mg film-coated tablets are suitable for use in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over with a body weight of 40 kilograms or more.
The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with water.
For patients who have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take Ibu-Lysine - 1 A Pharma® 400 mg during meals.
The film-coated tablets have a score line on one side.This is only for splitting the tablet if you have difficulty swallowing it whole - but not for dividing the tablet into equal doses.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and young people weighing 40 kg or more (12 years and older):
Single dose: 1 film-coated tablet (equivalent to 400 mg ibuprofen)
Maximum daily dose: max. 3 film-coated tablets (corresponding to 1,200 mg ibuprofen)
The interval between doses should be at least 6 hours.
Important: The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.
If use is necessary for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen, you should seek medical advice.
