Description

IbuARISTO® acute is an over-the-counter pain reliever that contains the active ingredient ibuprofen.It is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over and weighing at least 40 kilograms.The anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect of IbuARISTO® acute helps to quickly relieve symptoms such as headaches, menstrual pain, toothache and fever.

What is pain?

Pain is an important sensation that serves as a warning signal from the body.They help us recognize and avoid potentially harmful stimuli.The perception of pain varies from person to person and also depends on their mental state.Pain begins in the nociceptors, sensory cells that detect stimuli such as heat, pressure or inflammation.These pain stimuli are carried via the nerves to the spinal cord and brain.

Don't ignore pain

Early treatment with a painkiller can help prevent initially acute pain from becoming chronic.When pain persists for a long time, the body develops a pain memory, whereby the pain loses its warning function and becomes an independent disease.Contact your doctor if your symptoms worsen and you have pain for more than four days and a fever for more than three days.

How does IbuARISTO® work acutely?

IbuARISTO® acute contains the active ingredient ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).Ibuprofen inhibits enzymes that are responsible for the formation of inflammatory messenger substances.This reduces the sensitivity of the pain receptors in the tissue, which leads to pain relief.Ibuprofen also inhibits inflammation and has an antipyretic effect.The effect of IbuARISTO® acute usually begins within 30 minutes after ingestion and can last for several hours.

Dosage

The recommended dosage of IbuARISTO® acute depends on age and body weight.Adults and adolescents weighing 40 kg or more (12 years and older) can take half a tablet (200 mg) or a whole tablet (400 mg) as a single dose.If necessary, additional doses of half a tablet or a whole tablet can be taken.The interval between doses should not be less than 6 hours.Do not take more than three tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) in any 24 hour period.Take the tablets with a glass of water and do not break, chew or suck them.For patients with a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take IbuARISTO® acutely during meals.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in IbuARISTO® acute is ibuprofen.Each film-coated tablet contains 400 mg ibuprofen.The other components are:

• Tablet core: hypromellose, croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch (corn), colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium dodecyl sulfate, magnesium stearate (vegetable)
• Film coating: hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), talc, propylene glycol

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be taken.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.If you have an infection, consult a doctor.Side effects can be minimized if the lowest effective dose is used for the shortest possible period of time.No prescription is required for this product.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.Do not take it if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.The active ingredient ibuprofen and its breakdown products only pass into breast milk in small quantities.With short-term use of the recommended dose, interruption of breastfeeding is usually not necessary.
