Information for use of the article IBU-LYSIN-ratiopharm 293 mg Film-Coated Tablets IBU-LYSIN-ratiopharm is an anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic medicine for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, acute migraine headache with and without aura, and fever. The recommended dose for adults is a single dose of 1 film-coated tablet (approx. 300 mg ibuprofen) and a maximum daily dose of up to 4 film-coated tablets (up to approx. 1200 mg ibuprofen). The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration. The medicine should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid during or after a meal. If necessary, the intake can be repeated after 6 hours. There are certain contraindications and side effects to be aware of, so medical advice should be sought before use. Possible side effects include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness and skin reactions.
