Faktu lind haemorrhoid ointment is used to improve the symptoms in the early stages of haemorrhoids. For application, the ointment is applied thinly to the affected skin areas. The anal region should be thoroughly cleaned and dried beforehand. In the case of advanced haemorrhoidal disease or palpable external changes in the anal region, a doctor should be consulted. Allergic reactions such as itching, redness and swelling may occur. The medicinal product contains lanolin, butylated hydroxytoluene, cetylstearyl alcohol and propylene glycol, which may cause skin irritation. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products. During pregnancy and lactation, the use should be discussed with a doctor. The duration of application should not exceed one week without an improvement of the symptoms. The ointment is well tolerated and overdose symptoms are not known. Possible side effects include skin redness and itching. If side effects occur, the application should be stopped and a doctor should be consulted.
