Areas of application
Betaisodona solution is used once to disinfect the intact outer skin or antiseptic of the mucous membrane, for example before operations, biopsies, injections, punctures, blood samples and bladder catheterizations. It can also be used repeatedly and for a limited period of time for antiseptic wound treatment for pressure sores, leg ulcers, burns, infected and superinfected skin diseases, and for surgical hand disinfection.
Dosage and application
Betaisodona solution can be used once or several times a day.The frequency and duration of application depends on the respective area of application. The solution is intended for external use undiluted and in dilutions.Normal tap water is suitable for dilution; if necessary, physiological saline solution or Ringer's solution can also be used. The dilutions should always be made fresh and used quickly.
The solution is used undiluted for skin disinfection or mucous membrane antisepsis, surgical hand disinfection, antiseptic wound treatment and antiseptic surface therapy of burn wounds. The exposure time varies depending on the area of application and skin type.Different ratios are recommended for dilutions, depending on the intended use.
The application should be continued as long as there are still signs of inflammation. If the symptoms have not improved after regular use for 2 to 5 days or if symptoms recur after treatment has been completed, please consult your doctor.
