Infectosoor zinc ointment - with miconazole and zinc oxide
InfectoSoor zinc ointment is a medicine with a broad spectrum of action for the treatment of fungal skin diseases.It is used to treat inflammation of the skin and skin folds caused by yeasts such as Candida spp.are infested.Miconazole inhibits the growth and reproduction of fungal pathogens, has an anti-inflammatory effect and stops itching.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
The active ingredients are miconazole nitrate and zinc oxide.1 g of ointment contains 2.5 mg miconazole nitrate and 150 mg zinc oxide.The other ingredients are white petroleum jelly and glycerol tris (12-hydroxyoctadecanoate).
Contraindications
The ointment must not be used if you are allergic to miconazole nitrate, related antifungal drugs, zinc oxide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described or exactly as discussed with your doctor or pharmacist.Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
The ointment is applied to the entire affected area every time you change equipment, such as diapers or incontinence pads, and after every bath.
Treatment should be continued for at least a week until all symptoms have disappeared.If there is no improvement after 7 days, you should consult your doctor.
There is no risk of overdosing when used on the skin.If you accidentally ingest the ointment, you may experience nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.Seek medical attention immediately.
If you forget to use it, make up for it as soon as possible and then continue the treatment as usual.
Do not stop treatment too early.Otherwise, the infection may still exist and possibly break out again.

Intake
The ointment is intended for use on the skin.Before use, the skin must be cleansed with lukewarm water and dried carefully.The ointment should be applied carefully with your fingertips without massaging.

Patient information
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the ointment.The ointment should not be used on open wounds and contact with the eyes should be avoided.If hypersensitivity reactions or irritation occur, treatment should be discontinued.
If you are taking oral anticoagulants such as warfarin, stop using the ointment immediately and seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist if you experience unexpected bleeding or bruising, nosebleeds, coughing up blood, blood in the urine, black tarry stools or coffee grounds-like vomit during treatment.Close monitoring of International Normalized Ratio (INR) values under the supervision of a healthcare professional is required during treatment.
No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive or use machines.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Miconazole applied to the skin is absorbed into the body to a very small extent (less than 1%).There are no data available as to whether the active ingredient is excreted in breast milk.If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should only use the ointment after consulting your doctor.
Please do not use the ointment on the breast area while breastfeeding.How to avoid direct contact of the infant with this medicine.
Notes
The ointment must not come into contact with the mucous membrane of the eyes and should not be used on open wounds.The affected skin should not be cleaned with scented cleansers such as soap, shampoo or lotion. During use, the usual measures for skin inflammation caused by diapers should not be neglected.For example, diapers that are impermeable to air should not be used.
InfectoSoor zinc ointment should be stored at room temperature.Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
