Information about Myfungar® shoe spray

Myfungar® shoe spray is a special disinfectant that was developed to combat athlete's foot and nail fungus.It helps to remove fungal pathogens from footwear and thus prevents re-infection.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Athlete's foot and nail fungus are common infections caused by fungal pathogens.In Germany, around 15 to 20% of the population are affected by these diseases.Fungi thrive particularly well in warm, humid environments, such as those found in shoes.It is therefore important to disinfect footwear regularly to avoid reinfection.

Myfungar® Shoe Spray is designed to eliminate bacteria, viruses and fungi in shoes.When used regularly, it offers effective protection against infections and reinfection.

Mode of action

Myfungar® shoe spray works against odor and fungal pathogens.It was specially developed to disinfect footwear for foot and nail fungal infections.The spray reliably eliminates bacteria, viruses and fungal pathogens and removes unpleasant odors in shoes.Lavender oil, Octopirox® and zinc ricinoleate support the effect against odor and pathogens.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

100 g of Myfungar® shoe spray contains:

50 mg didecyldimethylammonium chloride, 15 mg polyaminopropyl biguanide, 38.4 g ethanol.

Other components of Myfungar® shoe spray are:

Aqua, triethanolamine, citric acid, zinc ricinoleate, laureth-3, piroctonolamine (Octopirox®), tetrahydroxypropylethylenediamine, propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, lavender oil (linalool).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

To use Myfungar® shoe spray, you should spray the interior of the shoes evenly with 5 to 7 sprays.Allow the disinfectant to take effect for at least 10 minutes.In the case of acute foot and nail fungal infections and to prevent reinfection, shoe disinfection should be repeated regularly.

Myfungar® shoe spray is available in two pack sizes: 100 ml and 25 ml. The 100 ml bottle is sufficient for around 100 applications and is enough to disinfect 50 pairs of shoes.The 25 ml bottle is particularly practical for disinfecting shoes on the go, e.g. when doing sports or traveling.

Socks do not provide sufficient protection against fungal spores in rental shoes.Infected skin cells can also penetrate socks and therefore pose a risk of infection.

There is an increased risk of fungal infections during exercise as mechanical abrasion and micro-injuries can occur on the feet and toenails.Fungal pathogens can easily penetrate the skin and nails through these injuries.

Patient information

To avoid fungal infections on your feet, shoes should be comfortable and wide enough.Shoes that are too tight can cause pressure points and small injuries through which fungal pathogens can penetrate.

Mushrooms thrive particularly well in warm, humid environments.If your feet sweat a lot, you should disinfect your shoes regularly to prevent fungal infections and eliminate unpleasant odors.

Borrowed shoes, such as ski boots or ice skates, can be a haven for fungal pathogens.Treatment with a reliable disinfectant spray can reduce the risk of infection and avoid spreading the pathogens if you are infected.
