NicotinAL1mg/actuation spray is used to help you quit smoking if you want to stop smoking.This is a type of treatment called nicotine replacement therapy.The nicotine spray for use in the oral cavity acts as a nicotine receptor agonist in the peripheral and central nervous system.Suddenly stopping regular cigarette consumption is often associated with typical withdrawal symptoms and a strong desire to smoke.However, clinical studies have shown that nicotine replacement products can help smokers quit smoking by increasing blood nicotine levels and relieving withdrawal symptoms.NicotinAL does not contain tar, carbon monoxide or other toxins found in cigarette smoke.

Quitting smoking is worth it at any time.In the case of the following diseases, a risk-benefit assessment should be carried out by the doctor: cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, impaired kidney and liver functions, allergies (predisposition to angioedema and urticaria), hyperthyroidism and tumor of the adrenal gland (pheochromocytoma), diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.Caution: Doses of nicotine tolerated by smokers can cause severe symptoms of intoxication in children, which can be fatal.

NicotinAL1mg/spray spray relieves nicotine withdrawal symptoms including the desire to smoke, i.e.h.the discomfort that occurs when you stop smoking.If you suddenly stop providing your body with nicotine by smoking tobacco, you may experience unpleasant sensations known as withdrawal symptoms.By using NicotinAL1mg/spray spray you can relieve or completely prevent these unpleasant sensations and the desire to smoke.This is because you continue to introduce a small amount of nicotine into your body over a short period of time.NicotinAL1mg/spray spray contains no tar, carbon monoxide or other toxins found in cigarette smoke.To increase your chances of quitting smoking, you should seek additional advice and support where possible.

NicotinAL1mg/spray spray contains the active ingredient nicotine.One spray releases 1 mg of nicotine in 0.07 ml of solution.1 ml solution contains 13.6 mg nicotine. The other ingredients are: propylene glycol, glycerol, ethanol, poloxamer 407, glycine, sodium bicarbonate, levomenthol, mint flavor, liquid (contains benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol, pulegone), fresh flavor, liquid (contains menthol, menthol carboxamide, essential oil, propylene glycol), sucralose, acesulfame potassium,Sodium Hydroxide and Purified Water.NicotinAL contains ethanol, sodium, propylene glycol and benzyl alcohol.

Contraindications

NicotinAL1mg/spray spray should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients it contains.NicotinAL1mg/spray spray may be used NICHT if you are allergic to nicotine, benzyl alcohol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in the “active ingredients” section, if you are under 18 years old, if you have never smoked.

Dosage

Recommended use of NicotinAL1mg/spray spray: NicotinAL1mg/spray spray should be used according to a fixed schedule.Up to 4 sprays per hour are possible.Each application should not exceed 2 sprays and no more than 64 sprays should be applied within 24 hours (4 sprays per hour over 16 hours).Step 1: Weeks 1 to 6: 1 or 2 puffs if you habitually smoke or have a craving for smoking.If the desire to smoke does not go away within a few minutes after one puff, a second puff should be used.If 2 sprays are required, 2 consecutive sprays should be used for the following applications.Most smokers require 1 to 2 puffs every 30 to 60 minutes.Step 2: Weeks 7 to 9: Begin gradually reducing the number of sprays per day.At the end of week 9, only half the average number of sprays per day used in step 1 should be used.Step 3: Weeks 10 to 12: Continue to reduce the number of sprays per day so that no more than 4 sprays per day are needed in the 12th week.Once use has been reduced to 2 to 4 sprays per day, the spray should be discontinued.From week 13: In order to remain smoke-free, the spray can continue to be used in situations with a strong desire to smoke.The same applies here: First apply 1 spray.A second spray only if the first spray does not help within a few minutes.From the 13th week onwards, no more than 4 sprays per day should be used.Note: It is recommended not to use the spray regularly for more than 6 months.Do not use more than 2 sprays in a row or 4 sprays per hour for 16 hours.Over a period of 24 hours, the maximum dose is 64 sprays within 16 hours.

Intake

The overview in the package insert shows the recommended step-by-step procedure when using this preparation.To use the dispenser: Aim the spray nozzle at your open mouth and hold it as close to your mouth as possible.Press firmly on the top of the dispenser to release a spray into your mouth.Avoid wetting your lips.To prevent the spray from getting into your throat, you should not inhale while spraying.For best results, do not swallow for a few seconds after spraying.Close the dispenser after each use to prevent children from using the dispenser and accidental spraying.Be careful not to spray anything into your eyes while using the spray.If spray gets into your eyes, rinse your eyes thoroughly with water.For further information see the package leaflet.

Warnings and precautions: Please talk to your doctor before using this medicine if you have any of the following conditions.You may be able to use NicotinAL1mg/spray spray, but you must first consult your doctor if you have recently (within the last 3 months) had a heart attack or stroke, if you have chest pain (unstable angina) or angina at rest, if you have a heart disease that affects the speed of your heartbeat or heart rhythm, if you have high blood pressure that is not adequately controlled by medicines, if you have ever had allergic reactions withSwelling of the lips, face and throat (angioedema) or itchy rash (urticaria). Using nicotine replacement products can sometimes trigger such reactions.if you have severe or moderate liver disease, if you have severe kidney disease, if you have diabetes, if you have an overactive thyroid, if you have a tumor of the adrenal glands (pheochromocytoma), if you have a stomach or duodenal ulcer, if you have inflammation of the esophagus (esophagitis).NicotinAL1mg/spray spray must not be used by non-smokers.Do not give this medicine to children or adolescents.Driving and using machines: No effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been observed.

Pregnancy

It is very important to stop smoking during pregnancy as smoking can lead to poor growth of your baby and also lead to premature birth or stillbirth.It is best if you can quit smoking without using medicines that contain nicotine.If you are unable to do this, NicotinAL1mg/spray spray should only be used after consulting the healthcare professional accompanying your pregnancy, your family doctor or a doctor in a center that specializes in helping people give up smoking.The use of NicotinAL1mg/spray spray should be avoided while breastfeeding as nicotine is found in breast milk and may affect your child.If your doctor has recommended the use of NicotinAL1mg/spray spray, you should use the spray immediately after breastfeeding and not in the last 2 hours before breastfeeding.Smoking increases the risk of infertility in women and men.It is not known what effects nicotine has on fertility.
