Levocetirizine Fairmed 5 mg is an anti-allergy medicine used to treat allergic rhinitis (hay fever), year-round allergies such as allergies to house dust or animal hair, and chronic hives. It contains the active substance levocetirizine dihydrochloride. Certain precautions should be observed before taking it, e.g. if you have impaired kidney function or epilepsy. Levocetirizine Fairmed should not be taken by people who are allergic to the active substance or other related substances, or in severe renal insufficiency. The dosage for adults and children 6 years and older is one tablet daily. The medicine can be taken independently of meals. Side effects may include dry mouth, headache, tiredness and drowsiness.
