Directions for use Iodine Wound Ointment STADA 100 mg/g ointment: - Iodine Wound Ointment STADA is an antiseptic for use on damaged skin. - It is used to disinfect superficial wounds, burns and infected skin conditions. - The active ingredient povidone-iodine is effective against a wide range of pathogens. - The ointment can kill germs in the wound, prevent inflammation and support healing. - The duration of application depends on the respective indication. - Careful dosage should be taken when using the ointment. - The medicinal product should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. - Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. - Side effects such as skin reactions or disturbances of the salt balance may occur. - The ointment should be used within 24 months after opening. - The commercial form is an ointment with 100 mg/g povidone-iodine as the active ingredient. - The package leaflet should be read before use.
