Information for use of the article Cetirizine HEUMANN 10 mg Film-Coated Tablets: - Active substance: cetirizine dihydrochloride. - Indications: Cetirizine Heumann is indicated for the relief of nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and for the relief of hives (urticaria). - Warning: Contains lactose. What is cetirizine HEUMANN and what is it used for? - Cetirizine Heumann is an anti-allergy medicine used in adults and children aged 6 years and over to relieve nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and to relieve hives (urticaria). How is cetirizine HEUMANN used? - The tablets should be taken unchewed with a glass of liquid. - The recommended dose for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age is 1 tablet of cetirizine HEUMANN 10 mg film-coated tablets once daily. - The recommended dose for children aged 6 to 12 years is half a tablet of cetirizine HEUMANN 10 mg film-coated tablets twice daily. - Patients with kidney weakness are recommended to take 5 mg of cetirizine once daily. How should Cetirizine HEUMANN be stored? - Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. - Do not use this medicine after the expiry date. What Cetirizine HEUMANN contains: - Active substance: cetirizine dihydrochloride. - Other ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [pflanzlich], highly dispersed silicon dioxide, macrogol 400; titanium dioxide (E 171).
