The electrolytes it contains help to keep the water and mineral balance in the body stable during treatment.Macrogol-ratiopharm® Balance gently relieves constipation and promotes intestinal health without the habituation effect.It is suitable for teenagers aged 12 and over and adults.The product should not be taken for more than two weeks at a time without medical advice.If there is no improvement during this time, a medical clarification of the cause is recommended.Macrogol-ratiopharm® Balance is lactose-free and can therefore also be taken by people with lactose intolerance.

0.05 g potassium chloride, 0.03 g potassium ion, 0.02 g chloride ion, 13.125 g macrogol 3350, 0.35 g sodium chloride, 0.14 g sodium ion, 0.21 g chloride ion, 0.18 g sodium bicarbonate, 0.05 g sodium ion, 0.13 g bicarbonate ion,Saccharin sodium as an auxiliary, highly disperse silicon dioxide as an auxiliary, orange flavor as an auxiliary, lime flavor as an auxiliary, lemon flavor as an auxiliary.

Contraindications

The preparation must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to macrogol 3350, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride or any of the other ingredients.The product should also not be used if you have a perforated intestinal wall, an intestinal blockage or severe inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease or toxic megacolon.

Dosage

Adults, children over 12 years old and older patients can take 1 sachet 1 to 3 times daily.The duration of use should normally not be longer than 2 weeks.On the advice of a doctor, it may be taken for longer periods, especially if constipation persists or certain diseases cause constipation.In these cases the dose can be reduced to one sachet once or twice daily.

If a larger amount is taken than intended, severe pain, bloating, vomiting or diarrhea may occur.In this case, a doctor or pharmacist should be contacted.If a dose is missed, it should be taken as soon as possible without doubling the next dose.

To get the most benefit, the medicine should always be taken according to the package leaflet.If the symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 14 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Intake

Open the bag and pour the contents into a glass.Add about 125 ml of water and stir until the powder dissolves.Then drink the solution.
